If you are unable to carry a pregnancy for medical reasons, we can coordinate an assessment of the options available to you. The review considers your medical history, available eggs or embryos and the genetic-link and parentage requirements applicable to your circumstances. Our coordinators organize each step with our partner clinics in Yerevan.

1

You are the legal mother

Your name alone goes on the Armenian birth certificate.

2

Your eggs, donor sperm

Usually your own eggs with sperm from a screened anonymous donor.

3

Discreet support

A personal coordinator, interpreters and help with every document.

4

Frozen eggs welcome

Eggs or embryos frozen earlier can often be transported to Yerevan.

Who qualifies

  • You are a single (unmarried) woman
  • A doctor confirms a medical reason you cannot or should not carry a pregnancy — for example no uterus, uterine malformation, severe Asherman’s syndrome, repeated implantation failure or a dangerous health condition
  • You will be genetically related to the baby (your own eggs). If your own eggs cannot be used, ask us about the rules for your situation

Choosing a baby’s sex is not permitted under Armenian law, except in the limited cases set out in Article 11(3): a risk of a sex-linked inherited disease, or a family that already has three children of the same sex. See the full eligibility rules.

How the program works

  1. Free consultation — medical history, citizenship and the right program for you.
  2. Agreement and planning — contract, staged payments and escrow for the surrogate’s funds.
  3. Tests and ovarian reserve check — many can be done at home.
  4. Sperm donor selection from detailed anonymous profiles.
  5. Egg retrieval and IVF at our partner clinics — a trip of about 7–14 days.
  6. Surrogate matching and notarized agreements; embryo transfer.
  7. Pregnancy with regular reports and ultrasound updates.
  8. Birth, DNA test and birth certificate with you as the mother.
  9. Travel document and return home — usually 3–5 weeks after the birth.
Tip: egg quality declines with age. If you are considering surrogacy in the future, freezing eggs or embryos earlier can keep more options open, although it cannot guarantee a future pregnancy.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be married?

No. Armenian law allows single women with a medical indication to use gestational surrogacy.

Can I use donor eggs instead of my own?

Rules for programs without a genetic link to the parent are strict for foreign citizens. Tell us your situation and we will explain the options that are legally available.

Will the sperm donor have any rights?

Under Armenian law an anonymous donor has no parental rights or obligations. How parentage is recognized in your home country depends on its law, so we review this with you individually.

How long does the program take?

Usually 12–24 months. See the detailed timeline.

What does it cost?

It depends on donor needs, number of attempts and the program. Request a personal estimate.
